Beyaz İnci Restaurant

The food was okay. We ordered one of the most expensive items, the Turbet fish. On the menu it was 4.500 but once we got our bill, they increased the cost of the fish to 5.500. I did not appreciate the fact that they did not inform of prior to purchasing about an increase but after the bill was given, they wanted to explain the breakdown. It seemed dishonest and I did not like that. The service was great besides the fact that it took nearly an hour for our fish to come to the table. My drink was good, my husbands was not good. The appetizers were great but we did not like the fish. Although it was a huge fish originally, by the time they removed the bones, it was not a lot of meat. The fish needed a lot of salt. I expected a tastier fish for the cost. It was $200 usd which translates to a lot here in TL. That is a normal date for us in the USA. We were given free tea and pastries at the end which was a nice touch but I truly could not move past them adding on an additional 1k for fish when on the menu it does not say "market price". I will not be returning.

The location and view was great. The food was chewy and wasn’t the best to eat. The service was really good and staff were friendly.

It was an awful and repulsive experience. On December 22, 2024, we made a reservation for a visit on New Year's Eve, and on December 30, 2024, we confirmed the appointment over the phone and through WhatsApp chat. On December 31, 2024, at precisely 10:00 PM, we arrived as scheduled. The staff's announcement that there was no table for us shocked us. We showed our reservations in print. The personnel asked us to sit outdoors at a filthy table facing the pedestrian walkway after we made our argument. There were lots of individuals smoking and spitting within two feet of us. We inquired about the dance floor, fireworks, and the announced New Your show. The response was that two short strings of firecrackers connected to a pole served as the fireworks, and there was no organized show or dance. We inquired about the cost of the New Year's menu and once more asked to be seated inside the establishment. The cost of the menu was not clearly explained. We were refused to be seated inside. Dirty-dressed staff disregarded the legitimate request to complete the booking terms. Thus, we departed from the location. It was Beyaz İnci Restaurant's New Year's greeting. Never again. Стоимость меню не была четко объяснена. Нам отказали в размещении внутри. Таким образом, мы покинули место. Это было новогоднее приветствие ресторана Beyaz İnci. Больше никогда. Dans pisti, havai fişekler ve duyurulan New Your gösterisi hakkında bilgi aldık. Cevap, bir direğe bağlı iki kısa havai fişek dizisinin havai fişek görevi gördüğü ve organize bir gösteri veya dans olmadığıydı. Yılbaşı menüsünün maliyetini sorduk ve bir kez daha işletmenin içinde oturmak istedik. Menünün maliyeti açıkça açıklanmadı. İçeriye oturmamız reddedildi. Kirli giyimli personel, rezervasyon koşullarını tamamlama yönündeki meşru talebi dikkate almadı. Bu nedenle mekandan ayrıldık. Beyaz İnci Restoran'ın yılbaşı selamıydı. Bir daha asla.

Kurz: zu teuer für unterdurchschnittliche Qualität. Leider war der Besuch eine komplette Enttäuschung. Das Restaurant bietet eigentlich alles für einen perfekten Abend, am Wasser auf einer von Istanbuls bekanntesten Brücken mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Der Blick auf die Karte verspricht eigentlich gutes, reichlich Auswahl an kalten und warmen Vorspeisen sowie reichlich Fisch-Hauptspeisen. Allerdings ist man bei Preisen zwischen 80 und 100 EUR pro Gericht dann doch etwas überrascht, selbst als Münchner. Wir haben uns dann lediglich für ein paar Vorspeisen entschieden. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten ging alles relativ schnell. Die kalten Vorspeisen kamen innerhalb von wenigen Minuten, die warmen folgten relativ zügig danach. Leider waren alle sehr enttäuschend, trotz stolzer Preise von 6 Euro (Haydari) bis 25 Euro (gegrillter Kalamari) - wir haben wirklich in allen Restaurants auf unserer Reise (10 Tage) besser gegessen als dort, für teilweise 1/4 des Preises.

Bellissimo ambiente e splendida vista. Piatto buoni e servizio cordiale… prezzi un po’ alti ma siamo sul Po te di Galata e quindi ci sta…
