Garden 1897 Restaurant

Overall, it was a good place. The food was good but not exceptional. The ambience of the garden area was nice but the indoor area was average. The free baklava and tea service was a nice touch. However it took the waiters forever to bring us the check.

Friendly staff, great ambience and excellent food. The best restaurant we’ve been to in Istanbul by miles. I wish we’d found it earlier in the week and we would have been here every evening!

Excellent food. Host was very welcoming & the music was very good. The service was competent but unfriendly & there were not many reasonably priced wines.

Very good food and friendly staff. Also very swift in serving the plates even if we were a very large party. 16 people sitting in two tables of eight. We could not reserve the garden on time but they placed us near the window so we could enjoy the view. Biris Mahsun was very helpful.

Nice setting, decent service, good food and drinks, although €18.00 for an Aperol spritz was a touch extravagant 😞

Lovely garden restaurant. Helpful and kind servers. Wonderful Turkish food. The chef came out to make sure everything was to our liking. They also sent over a wonderful dessert to cap off the night. Highly recommended.
