Visited for my husband's birthday. Told straight away no dishes available from sultans menu or fish. Reserved for a birthday celebration a month before and was not even offered dessert after our meal. Very poor service. Priority redirected to a large tourist group which should not impact service for other guests.

The service was terrible. The waiter tried to remove my friends shrimp soup before he had finished eating. My main course was served to me at the table whilst I was eating my starter. I think the waiter wanted to go home quickly and tried to rush us. We were not late arriving to the restaurant and had precooked the table.

Dining at Deraliye was fantastic. The food was rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and a real celebration of Turkish cuisine. The service was equally outstanding—we were treated like royalty, as if dining in the time of sultans and kings. Special thanks to our waiter, Emrah, who was exceptional. His attention to detail made the evening feel truly royal and unforgettable. If you're in Istanbul, Deraliye is a must-visit!

I don't think this restaurant is used to solo diners. Service was inattentive, food unremarkable. When I pointed out the palate cleanser was missed they told me it was a digestif and gave it to me after dessert. The degustation would have benefitted from something fresh with some acidity as main course was just meat and grain My experience may have been better in a fine day on the terrace which rain prevented. Maybe a different experience if dining with others

we had an early dinner here, we were tired but not that hungry, so we had two appetizers and one main to share. service was friendly and prompt, and each dish plus the complimentary bread and olive dip were all quite good.

There was a feather in goose kebab and they argued it was not feather. Bland food. Not recommended

The sultan's menu was delicious, the dishes meticulously prepared and presented, and we were lucky enough to have the chef finalising the dishes at the cooking class table in the living room. An excellent meal.

Amazing dinner at Deralye restaurant! Food is amazing, with a lot of choices from original Ottoman Empire. The restaurant is charming and cozy. Waiters are really friendly and professional, attentive to customers needs. In particular, Emrah was kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the dinner! Hope to come back in my next trip!

I do think it fair to review this restaurant as soon as possible because of its excellent service and delightful food!!! This was my boyfriend’s and I first night in Istanbul and boy what a way to start. Clean and modern restaurant with outside sitting. I was received with a pre appetizer drink. As appetizers you must try the Arafe!!!! We also had the cheese pie and the hummus ( you must try his for a cultural clash!! The hummus is totally different from what I thought it would be!). As a main course I had the lamb chops (great!) and my boyfriend had a kebab which he fished all of it before I finished mine ( he had the kindness to share some and it was yummy). At the end they offered us dessert but we were really full. Still we had some Turkish coffee and a complimentary sort of almond shot that was delish. On Fridays and Saturdays they have live music! On a busy strip they do stand out. I recommend it because it was a great way to start our Turkish vacations. Deraliye, thank you for the experience.
