It is not okay to smoke inside the restaurants. It creates a feeling you are in a cheap bar. The grilled fish was good but the rest of the food was ordinary. My request to serving dessert for the birthday boy after the dinner was ignored by the hostess. So I had to ask again and it was served after a huge, weird delay. Would not recommend it. The nicest thing is the view.
While they didnt seem to have an indication of the reservation i made on your system they were very polite and found a table for me and my 11 guests. If you happen to be on the asian side - this is a must visit. having travelled 17 odd KM and taken over an hour to get there from the hilton Bosphrous, the restaurant and the area truly lived up to the reviews and stars it has received. Every dish we ordered, the cold prawns, red peppers, octopus salad, stuffed mussels and the hot servings of sea bass, sizzling prawn in butter garlic, grilled mushroom and cheese and the calamari were excellent. A good wine list and a spectacular view of the Bosphrous and the bridge linking the two continents more then made up for the distance traveled. Stroll down post meal and catch a desert, shop or browse on the main street. If you are adventurous take the metro back to the european side should you be staying there!
