Amazing food, everything we ordered was an absolute sensation. Views and ambience were impeccable. Would come again in a heartbeat the next time I'm back in Istanbul.

Good food but small plates. Waiters wanted us to leave quickly, they served food before water and we had to ask for it twice. They always looked at their clock for letting us understand it was late even if there were other people still sitting at their table. Food: 7 Location: 9 Service: 5

Leb-i Derya is found in a side street up some stairs to a first floor lift which is then taken upto the actual restaurant which has good views over the Bosphorus and Golden Horn. The evening we ate there, there was a good buzz mainly due to a large corporate group dining there. We arrived with high expectations; whilst there was nothing wrong with the food we did not feel it was anything special and was certainly no better than the meal which we had had two nights earlier for half the price in Old Istanbul. I had the lamb loin for mains and it was really no better than a standard skewered kebab. My wife felt the same about her choice. The service was what you would expect from a reasonable restaurant.

Beautiful food, service was great and the location was to die for. Perfect for small groups, couples or even solo visitors. Would highly recommend for those traveling through Istanbul!
